Now that every geek in the world is mining these here coins, I strongly believe that gamers might be the next big additional group of users.

Bitcoin would be ideal for purchasing ingame items and we have been test driving it for use with our Facebook Social Gaming network.

The biggest hurdle at the moment, however, is the transaction fee of 0.01 BTC.

Micro transactions are where the real strength of Bitcoin lies in the near future, but with the steep increase in BTC / USD value, the minimum transaction is about $0.18. Lowering this to about $0.01 would open up bitcoin to millions of social gamers around the world.

Bitcoins are not ideal for microtransactions.

We do plan to lower various fees and limits, as bitcoins have appreciated far faster than expected.

Is there a way to get the calulated minimum txfee from sendfrom or sendmany ? This should be an option since rpc processes the request without you knowing the fee in advance
