It seems to be controversial, but one could consider "bitcent" more useful/usual then mBTC.

Automatic sanity-testing: PASSED, see http://jenkins.bluematt.me/pull-tester/a8764b073ecd2c5fa2b7fc6b1568f913d0120bc7 for binaries and test log. This test script verifies pulls every time they are updated. It, however, dies sometimes and fails to test properly. If you are waiting on a test, please check timestamps to verify that the test.log is moving at http://jenkins.bluematt.me/pull-tester/current/ Contact BlueMatt on freenode if something looks broken.

Seems pointless. 1 cBTC is already part of the BTC range.

I'm against adding more units at the moment. BTC, mBTC, muBTC provides enough for the full 8-decimal range. Sure, cBTC would give a sort of dollar parity right now, but that may have changed again by the next release and once added we're stuck with it forever...

I see. Personally, I don't see any technical difficulty to have even all of exponent units from satoshi up to MBTC, except a bit of bitcoinunits.* refactoring need (that is needed anyway) - all code outside bitcoinunits.* is seems to be unit-independed.

Right, no technical difficulty. That was also not my point. I'd like to standardize on a few units and the current ones are fine. Wake me up when we need nanobtc.

NACK
mBTC seems to be what has caught on rather than cBTC; I second laanwj's thoughts.
