Cambridge Bitcoin Electricity Consumption Index

One row per day in a CSV, with a Unix timestamp and lower-bound, upper-bound and best-guess estimates of the Bitcoin network's annualised electricity consumption in terawatt-hours. Modelled by the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance from hashrate and a profitability-weighted mix of hardware efficiencies. The site plots the same model as power demand in gigawatts; the figures rest on assumptions about hardware mix and data-centre overhead, and are estimates, not measurements.
